Fly For Fun Days
Our club holds two fly for fun days each year which
attract a multitude of pilots from not just our club but
surrounding ones too. Please click here for the
Friendly competition always leads for a great day out
and of course safety is paramount.
Our next Fly for fun day will take place on Sunday 12th
October 2008
All pilots are welcome to join in, not just those who
hold a BMFA A or B certificate.
 
Normal club flying will be in operation although FF
pilots have priority with regard to frequency and
airspace. Please come along and support this event,
whether you wish to compete or not.
We must
have a minimum of five entries to fly the event.
Event one
LANDINGS
As many landings as possible. Aircraft
must stop before taking off.
This is not a touch and go event
Event two
TAKE OFF ROLL AND TOUCH
As many as possible in the given time.
Event three
TAKE OFF LOOP AND TOUCH
As many as possible in given time.
Event Four
TAKE OFF ROLL LOOP AND TOUCH
As many as possible in given time.
For all your events the time will be 2
min from Wheels off or hand launch. For A/C with no
wheels a hand launch will count as a touch.
